Why I Read Your Word......

        Lord, here I am reading your word and I am not even paying attention. I pray that you send the Holy Spirit to work through me so that your scripture will do as you said it would

    Hebrews 4:12

     For the word of God is alive and active. sharper than any double-edge

 sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it

 judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

My Prayer:
Lord, I want your word to be active in my life to make me as sharp as a double edged sword, so my words can penetrate souls (In your name....of course), with your spirit; strong enough to shake bones to their marrow. So that you may judge the thoughts and attitudes of my heart.
